Most Spark experiences require you to scan a Spark QR code on-site. Once you arrive at a participating venue, simply find a Spark QR code and scan it to check in.
Profiles become visible immediately after you check in. You'll be able to see other singles who have checked in at the same venue.
Yes. You can search attendees by first name or filter by age range to make it easier to find people you're interested in meeting.
You'll only see people who are relevant to your dating preferences.
You can send private interest at any time during your check-in experience.
Interests are delayed and released after the check-in window closes. Nobody receives notifications in the moment, allowing everyone to focus on enjoying their time at the venue.
Match release times vary by location. Some check-ins release matches a few hours later, while others release them the next day. Check the specific venue check-in page for the exact match release time.
Chat only unlocks when interest is mutual. Once both people select each other, a private chat opens so you can easily plan your next in-person meetup.
No. Direct messaging is only available after a mutual match.
To keep things simple and private, profiles that are not mutual matches disappear once match results are released. This makes it easy to focus on your actual matches.
Yes. Your profile is only visible to other checked-in attendees whose preferences align with yours. Non-mutual profiles disappear after matches are released.
No. Most venues offer a Single Pass option that becomes available after you scan the Spark QR code and begin check-in. If you plan on using Spark regularly, you can also become a Spark Member. A Single Pass gives you access to Spark for one check-in. A Spark Membership gives you unlimited access at participating venues, faster check-ins, and the flexibility to use Spark as often as you'd like throughout the month.
